Mikey’s black garlic is aged and gets its name and color from the enzymatic reaction that happens from a specific heating process. It takes a couple of weeks to make, is Asian in origin, and is super healthy. It has none of the odor or bitterness of regular garlic and has a sweet, fruity flavor- think balsamic vinegar, dried fruit and tamarind with a black licorice consistency. Sold in 2oz bags.
